I am about five months into a GLP-1 and keep a simple weekly average in my notes app. My doctor recently added topiramate for migraine prevention, and I am trying to understand what is the GLP-1 and what might be the new variable. My appetite was already quiet, but lately some afternoons feel flatter and more neutral around food. My weekly average has drifted down about 0.8 lb over three weeks, after a nearly flat month before that. It is not dramatic, just different. I am not asking for dosing advice, only lived experience. For those who have taken topiramate for migraine prevention while also on a GLP-1: did it change your hunger cues, your weekly averages, or how meals felt day to day? I would also value hearing how you sorted this out with your clinician. Thank you for keeping this space so measured.
Topiramate for migraines alongside a GLP-1: what changed?

I also keep weekly averages, and when my routine changed I started a separate afternoon mini-log: food neutrality (1–5), energy (1–5), and whether a migraine day was close. That helped me see whether the flatness tracked with the new variable or with sleep, weather, or stress. One question: are you noting migraine frequency in the same weekly average, or separately? If separately, lining up those two timelines might show whether the afternoon shift is steady or mainly on migraine-adjacent days. Wishing you clarity as you sort it out.
