A quiet week of notes and tea

For what it's worth, this week I kept a small paper log after dinner, just three lines: appetite, energy, and one thing I noticed. Monday through Thursday I rated evening appetite at about 3 out of 5 around 7pm, my energy held steady until 9, and I noticed I was reaching for tea instead of a second snack.

Friday I took a 20-minute walk after lunch, and my seven-day average of evening hunger notes came out slightly lower than the week before, 2.8 versus 3.1, though one evening was higher. Nothing dramatic, and I am trying to let that be okay.

I also wrote one kind sentence to myself each night, which felt awkward but useful. For anyone who journals, do you keep it to a few lines, or does more detail help you see patterns?
