Morning scale after heavy squats: keep the data or bin it?

i’ve been on a GLP-1 since February and lift four days a week. I weigh every morning, same conditions.

My rule: the raw number is an observation, not an action item. After high-volume squats or RDLs, I usually see +1.5–2.0 lb for 24–72h, then it resolves.

Glycogen/water and local inflammation, most likely. I use a 7-day median for decisions; if that and my waist stay flat for three weeks, I adjust intake or steps. Otherwise I leave it alone.

The post-leg-day spike used to derail me. Now it’s a known artifact. For others who weigh daily and train: do you keep those high readings in the trend, or exclude them?

Has a 10-day slope been more useful than 7 for you?
