I keep a tab called Pen Leftovers, which sounds more dramatic than it is. Monday I had four rows, Tuesday seven, and by Wednesday my remaining-clicks column had three values I couldn’t reconcile with the dial photo I take before capping the pen.
I found the error: I’d entered one Tuesday row twice, then “fixed” it by changing the wrong cell. My weight trend line is 0.4 lb flatter than last week, which is not exciting, but it also doesn’t match the tiny panic I built around a stray click count.
I’m mildly contrarian on this: a messy row isn’t proof I ruined the week, it’s proof my spreadsheet needs a second set of eyes. Does anyone else keep a leftover-click column, or am I just generating extra admin for myself?
