I saw a short video this morning basically saying the appetite coming back around the same point is not automatically a sign to move up. My first thought was, easy for you to say. Two kids, dinner is a moving target, and my snack drawer is the real fifth family member.
Last week I had three after-bedtime handfuls of pretzels and decided that meant everything was broken. Then this week my meals were normal and the 4 p.m. urge was way quieter. It made me wonder how much of my it's not working is just chaos, not a pattern.
I'm not looking for a rulebook. But I'm curious: when you saw something like this, did it make you more willing to wait a bit, or did it just annoy you? Maybe both.
