One morning's high reading doesn't get a vote anymore

I still step on the scale every morning, but I only let the weekly average make decisions. Last month my daily numbers bounced across 3.1 lb; the line went down 1.2. I was down 58 lb at my 63-week mark, and the wild days are mostly salt, poor sleep, or a hard workout. Earlier I'd spiral. Now I screenshot the graph, not the dot, and remind myself that noise is supposed to be noisy. If you weigh daily, what helps you stay calm when the number pretends it's the whole story?
