Milehighcompounds order came through smooth, adding a data point

So I'm looking at Milehighcompounds (milehighcompounds.is) and comparing them against a few other vendors. Going off their catalog, the prices they publish, their shipping info, and the COAs they post. One thing I can't figure out: does the product catalog actually list batch/lot identifiers, purity specs, and a clear stock status for every product? That's usually the first thing I check before I dig any further.

I pulled up their catalog last night. Some listings had lot numbers and purity percentages, others just said in stock. Not consistent across the board.

Yeah, I noticed the same. The COA links worked for a few items, but a couple were dead ends. Feels like a work in progress.

Checked three listings. One had batch, one had purity, one had neither. Shrug.

I emailed them about stock status. Got a reply same day, said they're updating the site. Waiting to see if it sticks.

Prices were posted clearly, shipping options too. But the catalog could use a column for lot IDs. Just my two cents.

I keep a spreadsheet when I browse. Milehigh's data entry is uneven, so I log what I can and skip the vague ones.

Anyone else find that the purity specs sometimes appear only on the COA PDF, not the main page? That's a hassle.

I saw one product page with 'stock: low' and another with no status at all. Batch numbers were hit or miss.

Not sure they're ready for a full due-diligence pass yet. Good prices and shipping info, but the lot tracking needs work.

i do my vendor browsing at like 2am between ranked queues and keep a notion board. the column i keep missing for milehigh is whether the listed price already includes cold pack/priority ship, or if that gets tacked on at checkout. also, is stock status per vial size or just per product? maybe i'm overthinking, but those two things decide whether i bother making an account. anyone emailed them and got a straight answer?

Did you ask if the lot on the vial label matches the COA? If not, that PDF is wallpaper. I also want old COAs archived afer reformulation. Stock status is whatever. Traceability is the dealbreaker. Night brain hates dead ends.

The thing I’d ask them: do the COAs have a test date and a method (HPLC/LC-MS), or just a purity percentage? A report with no date/method still doesn’t tell me what’s shipping this month. I’m 10 weeks into a plateau and weirdly tracking sleep, protein, steps, and order dates just to feel like I’m not guessing. Catalog stock status without an ‘updated on’ timestamp gives me the same vibe—technically information, practically not much.

Small-town pharmacy chatter here: the stock status thing is what I’d poke at. Does the site just say in/out, or does it show low stock and update when a new lot lands? I keep a dorky notes app of batch dates and ship times, and if the catalog still shows the same COA after stock flips, that tells me they might not tie COAs to each listed batch. Also, do they archive old COAs, or replace them? That’d matter more to me than pretty prices.

I’ve done this COA detective work on hotel wifi—if the lot doesn’t match,

night shift. Does the product page show a lot ID before checkout, or do you only get it after? If it’s after, that’s not a catalog spec. I also look for a per-SKU COA link, not a general PDF dump. I track order date, lot, and where I saved the COA in a note. Missing one field and I stop comparing. Smooth shipping doesn’t fix a vague listing.

New angle: ask if their COA archive is append-only. I track batch changes in a sheet, and the useful signal isn’t “COA exists”—it’s whether the old lot page stays up after a restock, with the same lot ID, test date, and method, instead of getting overwritten. If the catalog swaps in a new COA under the same URL, you lose the audit trail. Do they version lot IDs per production run, or is “lot” just the SKU? That determines whether stock status means anything beyond “someone updated a button.”

If the lot ID only shows up after checkout, that’s a UX bug wearing a trench coat.

I run a cafe and live by inventory sheets, so the thing I’d check next is whether their “stock status” is live on-hand or just a default green dot. A lot of small catalogs say in stock until you hit checkout, then it’s suddenly backordered. Also, do their COAs include a test date and retest date, or just the purity number? Dates are the part I nerd out on because I rotate dairy and syrups by them. If both of those are clear before I pay, that’s a useful data point.

append-only coa archive is the dream, my shet hates surprise batch swaps lol

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned: whether each vial size gets its own lot or if they pool lots across sizes. I keep a little “order date / lot / packaging / how I felt that week” table, mostly to spot whether a swap lines up with anything or is just normal noise. If two sizes share a lot, that’s a useful data point. If not, their COA page really needs a per-size selector, not one PDF. Does their site show a “last updated” date on stock and purity specs, or is that another email-only thing?

New to this, but my walks give me time to wonder why lot IDs aren't just listed up front.

My spreadsheet has a lot-ID column that’s been empty for weeks; drives me nuts.

One thing I’d poke at: does the COA page show a revision date next to each purity result, or just a PDF? I’ve had a saved screenshot stop matching the current label, and without a date I couldn’t tell if I was looking at old info or a newer result. Also, is stock status live on the product page, or only revealed when checkout fails? I keep a tiny log of order date, how it arrived, and whether the site said in stock at purchase. Those two details would make comparing vendors way less guessy.

My lot-ID column is emptier than my

I’m a careful tracker too. One thing I do: when an order lands, I photograph the vial label and log the lot, the fill date, and whether the site’s stock status flipped

I’ve been comparing catalogs too, and one thing I now check is whether stock status is tied to a specific lot or just the product page. Some sites say “in stock” while the posted COA is for a different batch, which makes my weekly weigh-in notes hard to line up. I also record the lab name and test method on each COA, not just the purity number, because methods can vary. Has anyone found a vendor tat publishes lot-level stock status and a matching COA in one place?

I keep a column for “spec type” — single lot-specific purity result vs. generic ≥98% marketing claim. Milehigh’s catalog seems to lean generic on several pages, so my price-per-mg trendline gets noisy because I can’t tell if I’m comparing the same grade. Sharp follow-up: do their COAs show the actual method (HPLC/LC-MS) and chromatogram, or just a summarized percentage? If it’s only a summary, I’d log it as a weaker data point than a full lab PDF. That’s the bit I can’t populate yet.

COAs without a matching lot ID are just decorative PDFs.
