Loose skin after 55 lbs loss — dealing with it

Lost 55 lbs in 4 months. Feeling great but the loose skin is getting to me mentally. Stomach, arms, inner thighs. I know it's a 'good problem to have' but it's still hard. Anyone been through this? Did you get surgery? How long did you wait to see if it would tighten on its own?

I had the same concern. My doctor said the same thing — it's the rapid weight loss, not the drug. Mine stopped after about 17 months once my weight stabilized.

This is so relatable. I'm on week 28 and feeling the same way. The food noise disappearing was the most surprising part for me too. I didn't even know I had it until it was gone.

Yes! I noticed the exact same thing. Switched from sema to tirz and the difference in side effects was night and day. Tirz is much smoother for me.

Following because I'm in the same boat. Week 4, 7.5mg, and the plateau is real. I'm trying to be patient but it's frustrating.

I've been at 7.5mg for 21 months now. The jump from 5 to 7.5 was noticeable — more appetite suppression but also more nausea for the first two weeks. It settled down after that. I'd say go for it if you're stalling at the current dose.

Following because I'm in the same boat. Week 13, 12.5mg, and the plateau is real. I'm trying to be patient but it's frustrating.

Following because I'm in the same boat. Week 30, 12.5mg, and the plateau is real. I'm trying to be patient but it's frustrating.
