Morning weigh-ins before class versus Sunday check-ins

Third-year student sharing a bathroom with three guys who treat the scale as decorative gym equipment. I'm nine weeks in and around 12 pounds down, but the weighing ritual itself is what's scrambling my brain. Daily version: step on before my 8am, watch the number bounce a couple pounds depending on whether the dining hall served stir-fry or watery soup, then do pointless arithmetic the whole walk to class. Weekly version: I forget until 4pm, weigh myself after two coffees and a full water bottle, and get a number that means absolutely nothing. Cheap-protein corner: cottage cheese cups and a giant frozen edamame bag are basically my roommates now. So what's your rhythm — daily and you just shrug at the noise, or one fixed morning a week? I'm trying to find the version that doesn't make me weird about soup.
