Peptide hype is outrunning the evidence I can see

I’m not anti-peptide, but the forum enthusiasm is starting to feel like a megaphone for marginal stuff. Someone adds a compound, keeps training the same, and suddenly it’s the reason their recovery improved. Maybe. Or maybe it’s the four lifting days, 165g protein, and actually sleeping seven-plus that they already had locked in. My own little experiment: scale has stayed inside a 4 lb window for months while my deadlift went from 185 to 255 for reps, and the only variables I changed were consistency and food tracking. That’s not sexy, but it’s measurable. I’d rather hear about bloodwork, tape measurements, and lift numbers than vague 'feels.' What’s the strongest peptide success story you’ve seen here that couldn’t be explained by the basics?
