Refill math: sticker price vs what actually leaves my account

I keep a boring note in my phone for compounded GLP-1 refills: date, amount charged, shipping days, stock status, and any fee that wasn’t in the ad. Over the last four refills my monthly number bounced from $185 to $268, mostly because one month had a $35 membership I forgot was recurring and another had a $24 shipping charge plus a 10-day stock delay. The advertised price is almost never the landed price. I don’t care about brand loyalty here; I care about total per 28 days after membership, shipping, taxes, and whether I have to reorder early because shipping slipped. I also started marking how many days a shipment actually covered, because a cheaper bottle that arrives late isn’t cheaper. For folks who have done this longer: what line itms do you track before calling something the lowest monthly cost?

Your note is more organized than mine. I added a column for “surprise fees” and a second one for grocery spend that week—weirdly, the months my refill total spiked were also months I was too rushed to cook, so takeout made the real cost worse. Now I check my note on Sunday walks and pre-plan two dinners before I reorder. One thing I didn’t track until recently: membership renewal dates. Mine hits quarterly and never lines up with refill month. Does your note include renewal dates, or just charges after they post? That’s the piece that keeps catching me.

Yep. The recurring membership is the silent budget assassin.
