I’m not looking to start anything, just trying to sort out a weird appointment. I’m ten months into this journey, down 37 lbs, and finally back in the gym three mornings a week. Last week I asked my PCP about all the BPC-157 and TB-500 talk I keep hearing from lifting friends, mostly because my shoulder has been grumpy since I increased rows. She got very serious and said those are not benign recovery aids, and that she’s seen people get into trouble chasing them. I appreciated the honesty, but she didn’t have much detail, and online it’s either miracle cure or doom. I left feeling less curious but also less clear. How do you all handle it when your doctor and the gym crowd are on totally different planets? Do you just park the question and stick to protein, sleep, and physical therapy, or do you keep a list for a specialist?
My doctor's peptide warning left me with questions
