The snack drawer is the only part of my plan that sticks

I've tried meal prepping, a paper planner, the whole Sunday cook-a-thon. None of it survives my two kids hitting the kitchen around 4:30 like a weather event. The snack drawer survives, because I set it up for them and it accidentally works for me too.

Current lineup: string cheese, the little hummus cups, baby carrots I actually wash ahead of time, and a bin of applesauce pouches. The crackers live on the top shelf where I have to reach — not willpower, I'm just short and lazy. That one change cut my afternoon grazing way down.

It's not a system, it's a drawer. But it's the only thing I've kept up for about six months while everything else in my routine keeps getting rewritten.

What's in yours that actually survives the week?
