A gray mood week had me rereading my fridge card scribbles

had one of those weeks where my mood felt gray but not dramatic—just no sparkle. I keep a 3x5 card stuck to the fridge with two columns, sleep and mood, and I marked four afternoons in a row as “blah.” That’s not my usual pattern.

At the pharmacy counter Tuesday, the clerk asked how I was and I said “flat” before I could do my usual fine-thanks routine. She just nodded and said half the town seemed off with the time change.

I came home, flipped the card over, and wrote down appetite, sleep, and whether I’d gotten outside. Nothing scary, just trying to see the shape of it.

I’m not asking anyone to play doctor—just curious whether other folks have noticed a gray stretch that isn’t really about hunger, and how you keep track without making it a whole production.
