Badge photo retakes are my new benchmark

Badge photo retakes are apparently my new benchmark. I’m 15 months into this med, lifting four mornings a week, protein around 160g, and sleep is the first thing I protect.

Scale is down 74 lb, but the last six months have mostly been recomp: waist down 6 inches, same shirts fitting differently across the shoulders. Yesterday HR asked me to retake my ID because the old one looked 'outdated.' Same blue wall, same neutral face, same crossed-arm pose.

I almost said no because I hate the whole before/after thing. But I looked at the two shots side by side and didn’t feel the usual cringe.

My neck and jaw are different, sure, but the bigger tell is posture. I’m standing like someone who actually uses his back muscles.

Not a shortcut, just boring consistency. For those of you focused on recomp rather than the scale, do old photos or ID pics ever register changes your bathroom scale misses?
