Can an early shift make fat loss look stalled?

I’m not looking for a pep talk, just some pattern-spotting. Since the end of April my morning weight has bounced between 213.8 and 216.4, even though I’m eating the same breakfast, logging dinners, and hitting 8k steps most days.

The one thing that changed is my shift: I moved from evenings to early mornings, so I’m up at 4:45 and asleep closer to 10. I’m hungry at weird times, my rings are snug some mornings, and I’ve been lifting only once a week instead of twice because I’m wiped.

I know fat loss isn’t linear, and I’m not quitting. But I keep wondering if the sleep change, extra stress, or less lifting is masking progress.

What has thrown your numbers sideways when your food didn’t really change?
