I replaced willpower with a kitchen closing time

I’m down 23 lbs since February, but the interesting part is the logistics. Hunger cues used to be my primary sensor. Now they’re noisy and delayed, so I run the day off constraints instead: roughly 25g protein per meal, vegetables before anything from a box, no decisions after 8pm. Sunday I prep three interchangeable bases and two sauces. Boring? Yes. Repeatable? Also yes. The odd win is that I stopped negotiating with myself at 9pm. The kitchen closes when the dishwasher starts, not when I feel 'done.' The leading indicators are bedtime, water, and whether I packed lunch. Anyone else find the system matters more than motivation once hunger stops being the loudest input?
