Maintenance is mostly boring, and that turned out to be the win

I spent 22 months going from 262 to 150. I’ve been in maintenance for five months now. The loss phase had constant feedback. Maintenance is more like thermostat work: I weigh most mornings, ignore any single number, and look at the 10-day average on Sundays. If the average drifts up two weeks in a row, I go back to logging dinners for a bit. That’s it. No heroics. The weird part is how much mental space opened up once I stopped chasing a lower number. I still have days where old habits knock, but they don’t run the house. For those of you maintaining, what’s your early-warning system—the thing that tells you to course-correct before a trend becomes a regain?
