Morning weigh-in after lifting: what’s signal and what’s noise?

I weigh every morning and lift twice a week. After a heavier lower-body session, my scale can jump 1.5–2 lb overnight, then ease back over a couple of days. I used to spiral; now I jot 'lifting day' next to the number and wait for my 7-day average. Rings, sleep, and whether I’m unusually hungry tell me more than one morning. I’m on a GLP-1, so I’m extra careful not to confuse water retention with fat gain. For those who do both, do you ignore the day after training, or still log it and move on?
