Resting heart rate dropped before my waist measurement did

About five months ago I started logging resting heart rate in the same note as my weight, mostly out of curiosity. At first the scale was doing basically nothing while RHR had already slid from the high 70s into the mid 60s.

That pattern held for weeks before the tape measure agreed — 11 inches off my waist so far, which sounds dramatic until you remember where I started. In the trials, appetite effects get most of the attention, and cardiometabolic markers move too, but I didn't expect the timing to look like this for me.

I lift twice a week, keep protein near 130g, walk on off days. Could easily be better sleep or just less mass to pump around, not the med.

Did your RHR or HRV shift before the tape did?
