Routine scan found a thyroid nodule and my brain went sideways

Annual physical in September, TSH came back slightly weird, so my doctor ordered an ultrasound. There's a 1.2 cm nodule on the right side. Everyone keeps using the word "unremarkable" and I'm supposed to rescan in six months and otherwise forget it exists.

I'm 14 months in and my weight has been politely identical since June, and now my head has decided the nodule explains everything — the flat scale, the tired afternoons, the fact that I needed a sit-down after hauling groceries up the stairs on Saturday. Logically I know these are common and mostly boring. My aunt has a couple and has never given them one thought. But I keep rereading the printout like it's going to say something new.

Anyone else have one of these turn up on routine imaging? Did it change how you and your doctor talk about staying on this, or did you just file it and get on with your week?
