I'm on round two. Lost about 45 lbs in 2023, then my coverage changed and I went off it, and over the next year and a half I put back 32 of it. Restarted in April. I'm not going to pretend the first go-round was a triumph — I white-knuckled it and had no plan for the off-ramp.
What I appreciate this time is smaller and weirder. I can sit on the floor with my niece and get up without narrating it. My knees don't announce the stairs. I'm cooking again because food isn't a 24/7 background hum. Last Tuesday I took the long way home from the pharmacy just because I felt like walking.
None of that shows up on a chart. I'm trying to write it down so when the scale stalls I have something to point at.
Anyone else keeping a list that isn't weight?
