Six weeks of travel before my pen reached me

I run a small café, so I'm used to judging whether something's still good — milk, herbs, yesterday's soup. This is a different kind of guess, and I know it. My order shipped from overseas and took about six weeks door to door. Tracking went silent for nearly two weeks in the middle, and when the box landed the cold packs were basically tap water. The pen itself looks fine — clear, no floaters, seal intact — but it sat through who knows what warehouse heat, and the whole point of the labeling is staying under 25°C.

I'm not fishing for anyone here to tell me it's fine to use. I've already messaged my prescriber and I'll go with what they say. What I'm actually curious about is the logistics side. Do you toss a cheap thermometer in the box? Photograph the delivery? Has a parcel ever dragged like this for you, and did you just decide the uncertainty wasn't worth it?

Mostly I'm kicking myself for ordering with that much runway before my refill window. That part is entirely on me.
