The percentage column keeps my goalposts honest on weird weeks

I started at 236 and I’m at 207 now, which is 12.3% gone. If I only stared at the raw pounds, a 1-pound dip or a flat stretch would feel like nothing.

But when I convert it, that same pound is about half a percent, and it stacks with all the boring weeks I showed up. It also helps when my weight fluctuates after salty food or a hard workout — the trend still has context.

I’m not saying the scale is useless; I just like having a second lens that rewards consistency, not just dramatic movement. Anyone else keep a percentage field in their log, or do you track something else that makes the small stuff feel real?
