Who gets the full medication disclosure in your life?

I’m selective. Spouse knows, one close friend knows, PCP knows.

Coworkers and extended family do not. A colleague recently noted I’ve lost about 20 lb since January and asked what I’m doing.

I said I’m tracking portions and walking 8k steps most days. All true, just incomplete. I don’t owe anyone my medication list, and I’ve watched people turn GLP-1 use into a debate about willpower.

That’s a conversation I’m not hosting at lunch. I also don’t want my performance review or family gossip to include it.

My line: disclose where it affects care or close support; otherwise default to privacy. Where do you all draw that line?
