Struggling to get enough calories on tirz. The appetite suppression is so strong some days I eat maybe 800 calories. I know that's not enough but I genuinely can't force more food down. Anyone found strategies? Protein shakes help but I need more variety. What calorie-dense foods can you tolerate?

Following this thread.

Have you had your B12 checked? I was having similar fatigue and it turned out to be a deficiency, not the medication.

I've been at 10mg for 14 months now. The jump from 2.5 to 10 was noticeable — more appetite suppression but also more nausea for the first two weeks. It settled down after that. I'd say go for it if you're stalling at the current dose.

Same here! I had the exact same experience at 5mg. The nausea peaked around week 29 and then gradually improved. Hang in there, it gets better.

I've been at 2.5mg for 19 months now. The jump from 2.5 to 2.5 was noticeable — more appetite suppression but also more nausea for the first two weeks. It settled down after that. I'd say go for it if you're stalling at the current dose.

I switched from sema to tirz about 3 months ago. Big improvement in appetite suppression and fewer side effects. Down 56 lbs since switching. Everyone's different but for me it was the right call.

My A1C went from 8.1 to 6.5 in 6 months on tirz. My endo was shocked. The blood sugar control is honestly more important than the weight loss for me.
