Keeping a boring routine from turning into a chore

I’ve been around this board long enough to recognize the cycle: the routine is working, but I’m bored of it. Nothing dramatic. My lunchtime walk is still 25 minutes, my protein target is still 110g, and I still log the same four things on a paper calendar. Last month I hit 26 out of 30 days, and the scale moved 1.8 lbs. Good enough. The problem is the sameness. I don’t want to reinvent everything or chase a shinier plan. I’m curious what long-timers do when the system is solid but the daily repetition starts feeling like homework. Do you rotate one small variable? Take a planned week off from tracking? Pair it with something you actually look forward to? I remember older threads on this, but I’d like fresh answers from people who’ve kept going.
