I had the same concern. My doctor said the same thing — it's the rapid weight loss, not the drug. Mine stopped after about 17 months once my weight stabilized.

Has anyone had a severe reaction to semaglutide? I took my third dose and had intense nausea, vomiting, and dizziness for about 6 hours. Is this normal or should I be concerned? My doctor said side effects can be intense but this felt extreme. Anyone else experience something similar?

Following because I'm in the same boat. Week 28, 2.5mg, and the plateau is real. I'm trying to be patient but it's frustrating.

Same here! I had the exact same experience at 7.5mg. The nausea peaked around week 5 and then gradually improved. Hang in there, it gets better.

I've been at 10mg for 2 months now. The jump from 7.5 to 10 was noticeable — more appetite suppression but also more nausea for the first two weeks. It settled down after that. I'd say go for it if you're stalling at the current dose.
