The reward side of my brain got quiet

Three years here, and I’ve read the dopamine/reward threads off and on, but most of them centered on food. I’m 14 months in, 52 pounds down, and the food noise being gone is honestly a relief. The odd part is the non-food stuff. Music doesn’t hit the same. My Sunday moie ritual feels like a chore. I’ll open a book, read a page, and just sit there. It isn’t sadness exactly — more like someone turned down the anticipation knob. I’m not asking for a diagnosis, just comparing notes. Did this flatness ease for you once weight was stable, or did you have to deliberately rebuild the hobbies and small pleasures? Curious what helped, even if the answer was just time.
