The snack static didn't vanish, it just learned new tricks

I keep waiting for the old snack monologue to shut off completely. It hasn't. It just changed costumes. Early on, the noise was obvious: drive-thru, candy aisle, second dinner. Now it's quieter and more annoying. I'm parked around 214 for about nine weeks, down 31 total, and most days I'm not physically hungry. But at 9pm my brain starts doing weird math about whether a few crackers fit into the day. That's not hunger. That's the same old noise wearing a spreadsheet. What messes with me is that I can ignore it, but I still hear it. I'll make tea, log my protein, go to bed, and the next night it's back with a new pitch. So I guess it didn't go away; it just got a smaller microphone. For those further along, did the chatter eventually fade, or did you just get better at recognizing it?
