Reta is my weird little travel food-noise mute button

I’m on the road about 18 nights a month, so my meal plan is usually whatever hotel pantry, client cafeteria, or grocery store is closest. Reta is the reason I can walk past the sad 4 p.m. pastry tray and still eat an actual dinner.

It doesn’t make travel food magically good; it just turns the volume down so I’m not negotiating with my brain every hour. My concrete habit: I keep a 40-oz water bottle and roasted edamame in my work bag, and I aim for one real protein anchor per meal.

Last week in Tulsa I had yogurt, a turkey sub, and a decent salad bar instead of a whole pizza. Small win.

Mild frustration: I still forget that less hunger doesn’t mean I can skip eating all day, and then I’m cranky by 7 p.m. Anyone else keep their travel meals boring and predictable on purpose?
