Jogged the whole greenway loop without a walk break

I’m not fast and my pace is more of a shuffle, but yesterday I covered 3.1 miles on the greenway without stopping to walk. Six months ago I was huffing through a half-mile stretch, so this felt huge for me.

What helped was boring stuff: same after-work window, one podcast, and telling myself I only had to get dressed and start. The last mile was pure stubbornness, and my calves are filing a complaint today.

I celebrated with a slow block walk with my dog and a giant glass of water. For those who run or walk for movement, what’s one small habit that keeps you consistent when motivation is low?
