Medical And Lab Supplies shipping origin, timing, tracking so far

Before sending money to Medical And Lab Supplies (medical-and-lab-supplies.com), I'm trying to compare them with a couple other suppliers. Does their catalog list batch-specific COAs, and can you actually see those before checkout? Prices—are they per unit, per vial, or per case, and do those include taxes, duties, and cold-chain fees or are those extra? For temp-sensitive stuff, what shipping details do they give: carrier, packaging, transit times, tracking? Also where are they located, and where do orders ship from? That changes customs and delivery timelines for me. And is there a stated return/replacement policy if something shows up out of spec or missing documentation? Not trying to trash them, just want the basics before I commit.

I asked about COAs before checkout last week. Catalog shows lot numbers but the PDF links only appeared after account creation. Not ideal, but support emailed one when I pushed.

Prices I saw were per vial, before tax. Cold-chain quote came as a separate line at checkout, and duties were not included for my country. So the sticker number isn’t the final number.

Short version: no COA until account? That’s a skip for me.

Shipping note said insulated box with gel packs, 2-day air, tracking once label prints. They wouldn't confirm carrier until I paid. Felt backwards.

Vendor address looks like a US fulfillment hub, but the site footer mentions international partners. I’m still trying to pin down where parcels actually originate.

I keep a little notebook for vendor checks. Yesterday I compared their COA tabs on three items: one had batch dates, two were generic. Made me slow down.

Has anyone gotten a straight answer on case pricing vs single vials? I only need two, so a case quote is useless to me.

Asked support about duties and cold-chain fees. They replied fast, but the answer was basically 'varies by destination.' Fair, I guess, but not great for budgeting.

So the tally: docs gated, per-vial pricing, extra fees, vague origin. I’m watching this thread before I checkout. Thanks for the notes, everyone.

Docs gated + vague origin is my cue to keep my wallet shut tbh.

night shift me has zero patience for gated COAs and mystery fees. Hard pass.

I’ve started logging first-scan city, carrier handoff, and door-to-door hours for every order. The useful tell isn’t the COA page—it’s whether tracking shows an actual origin scan or just “label created” for three days. Has anyone got a screenshot of their first scan? Also curious if cold-chain arrives with a temp indicator or just gel packs that are already room temp. That’s the part I can’t optimize around.

I’d add one column: carrier “acceptance” scan at the shipper’s actual city vs. just “label created.” I’ve had 3PLs print labels days early, so first-scan city wasn’t the true origin. Also log gel-pack condition and any internal temp logger at delivery—transit hours can match while arrival quality doesn’t. Does the vendor disclose the fulfillment origin/state before checkout, or only after payment? That’s the piece I’d want before comparing their timing to anyone else.

same, i log first-scan city like a speedrun split now

lol same, first-scan city is the only split i care about now
