Regained 45 of the 80 and restarted before shame could settle in

Not a success story yet. I dropped about 80 over a year and a half, felt unstoppable, then spent the next eleven months quietly proving that consistency was the part I never actually built. A 45-pound regain later, my old goal weight had turned into a stranger I used to know.

Three weeks back in. Same food scale, same routine, but two things different: I log meals even on days I'd rather not look at the total, and I walk 25 minutes after dinner instead of promising myself a bigger workout I'd skip.

Down 6 so far. Nothing dramatic. The number matters less than the fact that I'm not hiding from my own log anymore.

Has anyone here made a second run at this and had it hold longer than the first? What changed — the plan itself, or how you talk to yourself when it slips?
