For years I told intake nurses 185, even when my home scale said 204. This morning it read 182, and I didn't feel fireworks.
I've been here about three years, through the old weekly check-in threads and the long stretches where nothing moved. The weird part isn't passing a number.
It's realizing I used that lower number as armor, and now it's just data. Less triumphant, more like running into an old lie and not needing to pick it up.
I marked it by updating my pharmacy profile, which felt very unglamorous. Anyone else have a number that started as fiction and quietly became a fact?
Did you note it, ignore it, or just let it be a normal Tuesday?
