I've been in this community long enough to treat presale windows as estimates, not promises. I put in one order in the second wave, wrote "10–14 business days" on my calendar, and stopped refreshing. Mine showed up on day 19. Nothing dramatic: box intact, cold packs still cool, no surprise fee.
What I noticed was the spread. Folks who ordered in the first hour seemed to get a cluster of arrivals, while later orders trickled out over another week. I just adjusted my buffer and moved on.
