Any lifters here actually messed with peptides and myostatin stuff?

Long-time lurker, first post. 37M, 5'10", down 42 lbs over 11 months on a GLP-1, sitting around 184 now. Lifting 4x/week (upper/lower split), 180-190g protein, 7.5 hours sleep most nights. Visibly recomping — scale hasn't moved in 10 weeks but my waist is down about an inch and a half and my sleeves are tighter, so I'm calling that a win.

Problem is every time I fall down a peptide or nootropic thread I see the same handful of names: the Russian brain stuff, the IGF variant, the mitochondrial ones, SLU-PP-332, myostatin inhibitors. Half those posts read like ad copy, the other half are guys three days in swearing they feel "dialed in." I'm skeptical by default — most of it looks like expensive urine with unknown long-term risk attached.

So has anyone here actually run any of these for more than a few weeks, alongside a real deficit and a real lifting program, and noticed something that wasn't just the GLP-1, the food logging, and sleeping eight hours? Or is it all hype and placebo?

I haven’t, mostly because I know I’d struggle to tell whether any change came from the peptide or from the slow recomp that’s already working. Your 10-week scale stall with a smaller waist and tighter sleeves is exactly the pattern I’d want to protect before adding another variable. The thing that helped me most was plotting weekly averages for weight, waist, and sleep, plus one lift per major pattern, so I could see trends instead of daily noise. Are your main lifts still inching up on this split, or have those flattened too? That would be
