Did anyone’s recurring sinus pressure calm down on GLP-1?

I’m on week 14 of a GLP-1 and down 22 lbs, which I’m genuinely happy about. But my sinuses are still a mess: four infections since January, pressure behind my left eye mot mornings, and an ENT visit where the CT looked basically unchanged. I do saline rinses twice a day, wash my pillowcases weekly, and run a HEPA filter at night. I track resting heart rate, sleep, and that weird eye pressure, and the only clear change is fewer migraine days. I’m not looking for dosing advice or a diagnosis—just wondering if anyone else with recurring sinus issues noticed inflammation easing after weight loss, or if this is one of those things GLP-1 doesn’t touch. If you’re comfortable sharing, did yours get better, worse, or stay the same?

ugh, the left-eye pressure most mornings sounds exhausting. I’m on a similar rollercoaster—lost 30, regained 15, now back at it—and my sinuses actually got worse, not better. The only thing that correlated for me was indoor humidity. My HEPA was running but my bedroom was 29%, and once I started tracking it with a cheap hygrometer, the morning pressure eased a lot. Not saying that’s your answer, but have you been tracking humidity/dew point, not just allergens? Also, do you wake up mouth-breathing? That made a difference for me.

Congrats on 22 lbs! That’s huge. One thing I didn’t see you mention: indoor humidity. I was doing all the rinse/filter stuff too, but my bedroom was sitting at 28% overnight once the heat kicked on. I got a cheap hygrometer and a cool-mist humidifier, kept it around 45%, and the morning behind-eye pressure dropped noticeably. I also started logging symptom days against humidity, late meals, and sleep position in the same app as my weight. Have you tracked humidity or tried sleeping slightly propped up? Curious if your pressure is more AM-specific or all day.

Do you sleep on your left side? My left sinus pressure was always worse when I did, and a wedge pillow helped more than anything. I also started noting barometric pressure in my symptom tracker—low fronts = guaranteed morning face ache. Not saying it’s the GLP-1, but my sinus crap didn’t shift until around month 5, and week 14 was still rough. Four infections since January would make anyone feel stuck. Have you noticed any pattern with weather or sleep side? Rooting for you—22 lbs is legit.

Congrats on 22 lbs—that’s real progress. Not saying it’s the GLP-1, but the morning left-eye pressure makes me wonder about overnight mouth-breathing/dry mouth. I lift 4x and recomp too, and when I actually tracked fluids/electrolytes around training, my sinus congestion got less gluey—I was way under-drinking for my protein/sweat load. Do you wake with a dry mouth or sore throat? If yes, maybe track sleep mouth-breathing and pillow/neck angle. That was a bigger variable for me than pillowcase washing.

22 lbs is awesome. One thing I added to my daily log: a 1–10 sinus score plus the barometric pressure trend from a weather app. After a few weeks, my worst mornings lined up with pressure drops way more than with my weight trend or anything else. It didn’t fix anything, but it gave me
