I’m 34, down 28 lbs since January on semaglutide, and I’ve been feeling proud of my 3x/week walks. But this week I overheard two guys at my gym talking about IGF-1 LR3 like it’s no big deal. I don’t know much, but the name alone makes me uneasy, and I’m not interested in anything outside my prescribed plan. It did make me wonder: how do you all handle fear-mongering vs. real safety concerns when random stuff comes up? I’m trying to stay in my lane, track protein, and not let internet rabbit holes derail me. Has anyone else had a moment like this?
Gym peptide chatter has me second-guessing my curiosity

I’m in a similar stalled stretch, and what helped was changing the metric, not the plan. I stopped weighing daily and started tracking a 7-day average, waist at the navel, and how many stairs I can do before I’m winded. Gym bros are always chasing the next vial; I just remind myself my January self couldn’t do 3 walks a week. Curious—when you plateau, do you change your walks (pace, route, incline) or keep them boring on purpose? I’m debating adding one longer weekend walk.
