Half a year back at it — 34 lbs down and scared

Long-ish post, sorry. I did this once before — lost about 60 lbs back in 2022, felt amazing, told everyone, then slowly handed most of it back over two years. 45 of it, to be exact. So when I restarted in January I didn't tell a soul except my husband.

Hit the 6-month mark last week: 34 lbs down. Went from a tight 2X to an XL that's actually loose. The things that stuck this time: 30g of protein at breakfast, a 20-minute walk after dinner even when I hate it, and no more eating in the car. That last one was weirder to quit than soda.

Honestly I'm proud, but I'm also waiting for the other shoe to drop. Last time I got to month 7 and started slipping. Anyone else hit a wall right around the same point? What did you do differently the second time around?
