How do you keep your health notes from piling up?

Hey all, cafe owner here, so I spend my entire day within arm's reach of fresh croissants and I am objectively the worst person to be portioning anything. I'm about 14 weeks in and down 22 lbs, which still feels fake to type. The part I'm struggling with isn't the food, honestly — it's the paperwork side of my own health. I've got a notes app full of screenshots, half-finished articles about things I clearly don't understand, and a lab slip from my doctor that I keep shuffling around my desk. I finally sat down Sunday with a coffee and made one plain page: appointment dates, my questions for the next visit, and the two numbers my doctor actually cares about. No fancy spreadsheet, no color coding. Just a page I can find when I need it. Feels silly, but it stopped the low-grade panic. Curious how the rest of you keep this from piling up — app, notebook, or winging it like I did for three months?

14 weeks and 22 lbs with croissants in arm’s reach is legit. The notes pile is why I stopped keeping a diary and started one template. I lift 4x/week, so mine is: date, weight, waist, sleep hrs, protein grams, session, hunger 1–5. Takes 90 seconds while coffee brews. Sunday I skim it, move anything useful to a monthly note, delete the rest. Recomp needs trends, not novels. Is your notes app mostly numbers or random thoughts? If it’s mixed, split data from journaling.
