Last night I realized I’ve been running a two-column system in my head: “crushed it” or “ruined it.” I got 8,000 steps instead of 10,000, hit protein at breakfast and lunch, then ate popcorn for dinner because I was wiped. Old me would’ve called the whole day a fail and used it as permission to skip today’s walk. Instead I put on shoes, did 15 minutes, and logged it. It felt boring, but boring seems to be the thing that keeps me consistent. For those further along: how do you handle the in-between days without turning them into a verdict on the whole week?
