Last month I did a three-day sales thing in Kansas City, and the weirdest win hit me during the 8 a.m. session. I sat through the whole keynote without shifting around like a kid in church. The chair didn't creak, my lower back didn't yell, and I wasn't counting the minutes until I could stand up.
I also packed tuna pouches and almonds for the hotel gaps, dodged the lobby cookies, and actually had energy for the evening reception. Not because I was being virtuous โ I just wasn't starving or stuffed.
The scale has been pretty flat this month, but that quiet chair is my favorite stat. Anyone else have a very specific travel win that meant more than the number?
