I travel most weeks for work, and apparently my appetite ignores good intentions once a hotel waffle maker appears. I was down 14 lbs by mid-spring, feeling pretty smug, then did four cities in 12 days: client dinners, lobby snack bowls, and a 10 p.m. room-service burger that felt logical at the time. The scale is up 6 lbs and my brain keeps doing pastry math. Not panicking, just mildly annoyed. I've been home for two weeks, back to grocery runs and walking meetings, and the trend is finally flattening instead of climbing. The boring answer is probably consistency, which is not what I want to hear while staring at a breakfast buffet. Does anyone else find travel weeks make the fod noise louder instead of quieter? I'd love your hotel-room damage-control habits that don't involve packing a blender.
Hotel breakfast buffets are undefeated against my GLP-1 progress
