Hunger stopped knocking so I put meals on a timer

Daily weigher here, firmly pro-trend-line. Lately my appetite isn’t low exactly — it just doesn’t send up a flare. Yesterday I looked up at 3:40 p.m.

and realized I’d had coffee, water, and half a protein bar. The 7-day average was still drifting down, so nothing looked “wrong,” but I felt flat and my evening walk was sluggish. So I’ve started treating meals like appointments: 8 a.m.

yogurt with nuts, noon something I can eat with one hand, 6 p.m. a real plate even if it’s small. I keep frozen edamame and rotisserie chicken in the fridge because “decide while hungry” isn’t happening.

Scale was up 0.9 lb this morning from salty soup; trend line did not care. I’m trying to eat enough without turning it into a second job. What’s your default no-thought meal when hunger is quiet?
