Longer walks, lighter lunches, and the 2:30 fog

Our youngest left for college in August, and I’ve been rebuilding my days around a 2-mile walk after breakfast and one new recipe each Sunday. It feels good until about 2:30, when I turn into a foggy, snippy version of myself. Yesterday I had cottage cheese and berries at 7, walked at 9, then got busy and ate a small salad at 1. By mid-afternoon I was shaky and had to sit on the kitchen floor with a glass of milk. I’m not looking for a diagnosis, just trying to understand the pattern. Has anyone else had to rethink meal timing once the empty-nester walks and cooking experiments started? I want the walks to stay, but not the crash.
