My fallback meals are boring and keeping me sane

I still like food. I just do not want to invent dinner at 6 p.m. anymore. For the last 19 days I have rotated three fallback meals: eggs with frozen spinach, chicken and bagged slaw, and lentil soup from the freezer. My daily weigh-ins bounce around, but the 7-day trend line has been gently downhill, and that has been enough to keep me from ordering out. The trap for me is waiting for inspiration. If I wait, I graze while staring into the fridge and call it decision fatigue. If I pick a boring base and add one loud sauce or pickle, I actually sit down and eat. I am not chasing exciting meals right now. I am chasing repeatable ones. For anyone in the same cooking rut, what is your no-thought fallback this month?
