Sunday morning I finally moved my shot-day odds and ends out of the kitchen drawer and into a little hard case I picked up for $8. I’d been using a ziplock, which somehow always slid behind the cutting boards.
The case fits my wipes, my log card, and the tiny notebook where I jot the day’s scale number; nothing fancy, but now the whole routine takes one grab instead of a scavenger hunt. My scale ticked up 0.6 lb Tuesday, and normally that would send me into a spiral, but I glanced at my seven-day line—still flat-ish—and let it go.
The case didn’t change the data. It just made the morning less friction, and less friction helps me stay calm about noise.
Anyone else have a small container that quietly fixed a routine?
