I keep a dated strip of tape on each bacteriostatic water vial, mostly because I forget when I opened it. This week I pulled one from late August and held it near the window: there was a faint cloud near the shoulder and a thin ring I hadn’t noticed before.
The label ink had smudged too, which made me stop and look closer instead of just grabbing it. I poured it out and wrote the fresh date on the new vial.
It wasn’t a dramatic moment, just a small check that kept me from second-guessing myself later. Does anyone else date the vial itself, or do you track it somewhere else?
