I moved up a titration step and still have two sealed pens from the previous strength. On paper the arithmetic looks clean, but I’m not treating that as permission to improvise. My prescriber’s answer was that the current prescription is the one I should use; leftovers aren’t a substitute. So they sit in my medication drawer while I decide whether to return them or keep them for records. It’s more logistical annoyance than temptation. Has anyone else had a dose transition leave mismatched pens? I’m curious how your clinic handled the inventory, not about dose hacks.
